Job Description
The Alzheimer's Society UKDTN Lead Clinical Research Nurse is a senior clinical leadership role responsible for leading the delivery and development of early phase dementia and mild cognitive impairment (MCI) CTIMP and ATIMP clinical trials.
The post holder will lead the delivery of a high-quality early phase dementia clinical trials portfolio, ensuring compliance with ICH-Good Clinical Practice (GCP), UK Clinical Trial Regulations, the UK Policy Framework for Health and Social Care Research, and local Research & Development requirements. They will provide clinical and operational leadership to the research nursing team, support workforce development through education and mentorship, and act as a clinical expert and ambassador for the Alzheimer's Society UKDTN Research Nurse Programme, promoting research as an integral part of the dementia care pathway.
The post holder will contribute to regional and national research priorities, workforce development and UKDTN and Alzheimer's Society initiatives that may require travel within the local region and occasional UK-wide travel to support programme activities and network meetings.
