Help us create a better future, quicker
We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded professional to join our Broadband Operations team, playing a key role in the delivery, maintenance and continuous improvement of broadband services for business customers.
What you’ll be doing
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of technical support across broadband installations and maintenance activities, while managing commercial contracts and service providers to deliver against agreed contractual commitments and service level agreements. You will take ownership of operational performance, ensuring suppliers and partners consistently deliver high-quality outcomes that place customer experience at the centre of everything they do.
Working closely with internal teams and external service partners, you will lead the management of agent performance across the broadband portfolio, maintaining strong operational governance, financial control and regulatory compliance. You will identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs and enhance service delivery, helping the business maintain a competitive position within the broadband market.
A significant part of the role will involve developing and leading plans for the management of broadband delivery partners, building and maintaining strong supplier relationships, assessing customer needs and driving improvements that support both operational and commercial objectives. You will also ensure all parties follow the required customer journey throughout the installation process, while promoting best practice, quality standards and customer-focused ways of working.
What you’ll bring
The successful candidate will help enable learning and capability across the business, supporting the development of training solutions, digital learning tools and AI-enabled support capabilities that improve consistency, confidence and service quality. You will work collaboratively with stakeholders across operations, customer service, compliance, quality assurance, data and transformation teams to drive alignment and continuous improvement.
This position requires a strong understanding of the UK broadband market, including installation, provisioning, faults and repair processes, alongside a high degree of commercial and regulatory awareness. You will have proven experience in service delivery and contract management, excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills, and the confidence to engage with senior stakeholders, customers and suppliers. Regular travel across the UK will be required to meet with existing and prospective broadband service partners.
We are looking for a self-motivated, resilient and adaptable individual with strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced and evolving environment. Experience within the broadband sector is essential, and candidates should ideally hold a degree in a business-related discipline or possess significant relevant experience in a similar role.
This is an exciting opportunity for a driven professional to influence operational performance, strengthen supplier partnerships and play a key role in shaping the future of broadband service delivery.
