Principal Embedded Software Engineer (Verification) - Bristol/Hybrid - £75,000 + Bonus 🚀
Our client a market leading SME within the Embedded Safety & Security industry are entering an exciting phase of growth across their Bristol office. The business has a global presence with both offices in the UK and throughout Europe with over 500 employees working on the most innovative portfolio of custom embedded software products.
With further growth, they are looking for a Principal Software Engineer to join their Automotive/Medical Verification team in Bristol. You'll join a diverse, high performing team of 20 software engineers, working on several projects for world-renowned companies from dynamic start-ups to the most prestigious global companies from Automotive and Medical sectors.
They're looking for either an established Principal Engineer with some management experience, or a strong Senior Engineer ready to step up into a Principal role in a short space of time.
Requirements:
- C & Assembler
- ARM Architectures
- RTOS (Real Time Operating Systems)
- Hands-on testing/verification experience (manual, not reliant on automated systems)
- Safety-critical experience, ideally including ASPICE, IEC 61508 and MISRA
With your experience in C & Assembler, ARM architectures and software development within a controlled environment, you will work within their Verification team on RTOS product testing, including porting to different processor architectures, testing to industry safety standards, and production of design and test documentation.
