Job Description
Junior Procurement Specialist – FMCG - central London (2 day per week in office) - £35,000-£40,000 + package (CIPS sponsorship)
A rapidly growing FMCG organisation is seeking a motivated Junior Procurement Specialist or high-potential graduate to join its expanding procurement team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the early stage of their procurement career who is ambitious and commercially curious.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support sourcing and supplier management across indirect categories.
- Contribute to cost savings, risk mitigation, value creation, and service improvement.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships and support speed-to-contract delivery.
- Assist with the end-to-end source-to-contract process, including RFI/RFP/RFQ support, basic cost analysis, negotiation support, supplier onboarding, and contract administration.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand requirements, briefs, and internal processes.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to category planning as part of your development.
Candidate Profile:
- Around 1 year's experience in a procurement role, with exposure to either direct or indirect procurement activities.
- A degree (completed or nearing completion) in Business, Supply Chain Management, Economics, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- Experience using procurement and ERP systems such as SAP or similar platforms.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively across different levels of an organisation.
- A genuine passion for procurement and supply chain, with a desire to develop your commercial awareness, negotiation, and supplier management capabilities.
- A proactive and analytical mindset, with strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
- An interest in working towards CIPS or other recognised procurement and supply chain qualifications, with support available for ongoing professional development.
