Applied AI Engineer | £80,000–£150,000 + Equity | London, LLM, Python

I'm partnering exclusively with a well-funded, AI-native technology company to hire two Applied AI Engineers.

This is an opportunity to join an ambitious engineering team building AI products that are solving genuine business problems at scale. The company has secured significant backing from leading venture investors, is growing rapidly, and is expanding its engineering team as demand continues to increase.

The Opportunity

This isn't a research role or prompt engineering in isolation. You'll own AI-powered features from concept through to production, working on products used by real customers every day.

What You'll Do

• Build AI-powered product features from design through to deployment

• Develop evaluation frameworks to improve model quality and reliability

• Build agentic workflows and production AI systems

• Work across Python, TypeScript and React

• Collaborate closely with product, engineering and leadership teams

What We're Looking For

• Strong Python and experience working with modern LLM platforms

• Experience shipping AI products into production

• Comfortable taking ownership of complex technical problems

• Startup mindset with a bias for action

• Experience within high-growth technology businesses is highly desirable

Package

• £80,000–£150,000 base salary

• Equity

• London (5 days per week)

• Visa sponsorship and relocation available
