Roles and Responsibilities
As an Optical Engineer at AllFocal Optics, you will:
- Design and optimize novel optical systems for diverse projects.
- Conduct experimental implementation and testing of new optical designs.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues, industry partners, suppliers, and customers to drive innovation.
- Contribute to intellectual property development, including participating in patent writing.
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience with developing free-space optics experiments.
- Strong knowledge of geometrical and ray optics.
- Bachelor’s degree in Optical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in head-mounted displays (HMDs) or head-up displays (HUDs).
- Experience with optical design tools such as Ansys Speos, Ansys Lumerical, Ansys Zemax or similar software.
- Demonstrated presentation skills.
- Master’s or Ph.D. in Optical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
