Salary: £45,100-£60,400 per annum
Location: Cambridge, Hybrid (minimum 2 days per week in the office)
Contract: Full time, 2-year fixed term
Hours: 35 hours per week

About The Role
We are home to many ex-teachers and education professionals who have found a career in managing assessments for qualifications ranging from Cambridge IGCSE and O Level to Cambridge International A Level.
In this valued role, you will be one of our Science subject specialists. You will be responsible for managing a wide range of tasks to ensure the successful delivery of examinations for learners around the world.
As part of this role, you will:
- oversee the production of the question papers taken by learners in the many exam series that we offer, ensuring that they are 100% accurate and free from error.
- ensure question papers are comparable from series-to-series, year-to-year, and are fair to candidates from different countries and backgrounds.
- work on setting the thresholds that determine grades.
- work with a range of stakeholders and Assessment Specialists, including Setters, Revisers, Vetters and Principal Examiners.
- manage teams of examiners and contribute to succession planning for the future.
- work collaboratively with our ministry partners around the world to develop and revise their syllabuses.
This position has been classified as a hybrid role, requiring the selected candidate to typically spend 40-60% of their time collaborating and connecting face-to-face at their dedicated location. About You
As one of our specialists in Science, you will have a degree in Biology, Chemistry or Physics, or a closely related subject.
