Aircraft Maintenance B1/B2 Engineer & Supervisor opportunities – London
I’m currently recruiting for experienced Aircraft Maintenance Supervisors to join a busy line maintenance operation in London, supporting a modern Embraer fleet in a high-frequency airport environment.
This is a hands-on supervisory role where you’ll be leading day-to-day maintenance activity across scheduled and unscheduled work, defect rectification, and AOG recovery. You’ll be right in the mix with the team, not sat on the side-lines.

What I’m looking for
- UK CAA Part 66 B1 or B2 Licence with at least 1 type rating, OR
- EASA B1 or B2 Licence with E190 type rating
- Strong line maintenance background
- Previous supervisory experience in aviation maintenance
- Confident decision maker in operational pressure situations
- Good technical understanding across aircraft systems
- Current Embraer 190 type rating is desirable however type training will be provided to successful candidates.

What you'll be doing
- Leading by example in promoting the highest standards of professionalism, safety, technical excellence, and team performance within the maintenance environment.
- Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, defect rectification, and troubleshooting on company aircraft as directed by the Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor or Line Maintenance Manager.
- Deputise for the Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor when required, supporting daily operations and ensuring effective team coordination.
- Ensure the highest levels of airworthiness, compliance, quality, and safety are consistently maintained in line with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Exercise the privileges of all company authorisations held in accordance with approved maintenance practices and procedures.
- Support company charter operations, including AOG recovery and casualty aircraft recovery activities across the network when required.
- Operate in full compliance with company policies, Health & Safety regulations, and industry best practices at all times.
- Carry out, coordinate, or arrange maintenance and repair of company tooling, ground equipment, and vehicles as required.
- Maintain full compliance with all mandatory company training, continuation training, and regulatory requirements necessary to perform the role effectively.

- Up to £92,000 total earnings in year 1 (including shift allowance and sign on bonus)
- £3,000 sign-on bonus
- E190 type course for licenced engineers without this already

Sponsorship
UK sponsorship is available for experienced UK CAA Part 66 B1 engineers currently outside the UK who already hold an Embraer 190 type rating.
