What you’ll do:

  • Analyse and identify the linkages and interactions between the component parts of an entire system.

  • Take ownership of projects, ensuring their successful planning, budgeting, execution, and completion.

  • Partner with team leadership to ensure collective ownership of quality, timelines, and deliverables.

  • Develop skills outside your comfort zone and encourage others to do the same.

  • Effectively mentor others.

  • Use the review of work as an opportunity to deepen the expertise of team members.

  • Address conflicts or issues, engaging in difficult conversations with clients, team members and other stakeholders, escalating where appropriate.

  • Uphold and reinforce professional and technical standards (e.g. refer to specific PwC tax and audit guidance), the Firm's code of conduct, and independence requirements.

What we’re looking for:

  • Practical exposure to prudential regulatory requirements and their implementation;

  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills and enjoy working with clients to support on a range of projects;

  • Strong communication, project management and stakeholder management skills;

  • Working well in teams and can support and develop more junior team members in a high-performing and caring work environment; and

  • You hold a MSc / BSc (Hons) in Statistics / Actuarial Science / Financial Mathematics or Applied Mathematics as well as have programming capabilities in SAS / R / Python / SQL

The minimum salary for a Senior Associate in this role is AUD 89,100 including superannuation. Higher grades will receive a salary range above this in line with the salary bands for these positions.
