Customer Engineer – AI Platform


💼 The Role

We are partnered with a rapidly growing AI software business who are continuing to scale following huge demand from enterprise customers.


They’re hiring Customer Engineers to join a newly created technical delivery function focused on deploying AI-powered solutions into complex customer environments.


This is a highly technical, post-sales engineering role combining coding, integrations, workflow automation, and customer interaction. You’ll work directly with enterprise clients to build, configure, and optimise AI-driven solutions in live production environments.


It’s ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work but also wants to stay close to customers and real-world delivery.


🚀 Key Responsibilities

  • Build and configure AI-driven workflows and automation solutions
  • Develop integrations and connect customer systems via APIs
  • Work directly with enterprise customers to gather technical requirements and solve delivery challenges
  • Test, troubleshoot, and optimise AI deployments in production environments
  • Configure tools, workflows, and safeguards to improve reliability and performance
  • Partner with product and engineering teams to improve platform capabilities and delivery processes
  • Manage technical implementations from initial setup through to launch and iteration


🌟 What We’re Looking For

  • 4+ years in a technical, customer-facing B2B SaaS environment
  • Backgrounds could include Customer Engineering, Forward Deployed Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Implementation Engineering, Technical Consulting, or similar
  • Strong Python skills with the ability to code confidently
  • Experience working with APIs, integrations, and automation workflows
  • Comfortable working directly with technical customer stakeholders
  • Experience delivering complex technical solutions in live customer environments
  • Exposure to AI, LLMs, automation tooling, or conversational platforms would be highly beneficial
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to operate in fast-moving environments
  • Stable career history with solid tenure preferred


💰 Package

  • £130,000 - £170,000 base salary
  • Competitive equity package
  • Visa sponsorship available
  • Full-time permanent position
  • 5 days per week in-office
  • Central London location
